Yesterday, ahead of the episode, Hina Khan took to the photo-sharing app to share a picture with her friend and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 producer Ekta Kapoor. The actress also thanks Ekta for giving her the opportunity to play a role like Komolika, from whom viewers have a lot of expectations. She also wishes to live up to everyone expectations and hopes that she can add to this great legacy and keep the 90s love saga as iconic as ever.

Hina wrote on Instagram, "They say History repeats itself. But I say Icons make new history with every stroke of their excellence. An icon ektakapoor made an iconic show KZK 17 years ago exactly on this day and that show had an iconic character called komolika. Today she’s done it all over again and this lucky day is going to be the start of my journey as Komolika , I only pray and hope that I can add to this great legacy and make it , keep it as Iconic as ever. According to recent reports Hina Khan will have a boyfriend on the show. Actor  Rohit Sharma, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, has been roped in to play Hina's boyfriend in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Although Rohit won't be a regular member but the actor will have a cameo of a few episodes. Watch this space for further updates.
