Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Ekta Kapoor Reveals What Komolika’s Signature Tune ‘Naika’ Really Means in This Video

As we know, Kasautii Zindagii Kay's iconic vamp, Komolika, has made her entry in the show on October 9, 2018. She is here to bring a new twist in Anurag and Prerna’s life. While viewers did not get a chance to see her face, glimpses of her were shown in Tuesday's episode and fans can't wait for the mystery around the actress playing the new-age Komolika to be unraveled. However, Komolika, who has made her entry in the show recently, was introduced as the minister Siddhant Choubey's daughter in KZK2. Speaking of the new-age Komolika, Star Plus' Twitter handle took to the micro-blogging site to share a video where Ekta Kapoor is seen talking about one of her favourite characters she has created so far. In the 45-seconds video, Ekta promises that this season KZK2 fans will see a different Komolika altogether. She assures the fans that they will get to see a new andaaz of Komolika as the new-age Komolika won't be like the one we had seen in the 90's. We are sure that this video is all set to increase everyone's excitement around the character even more. Remember the catch phrase of Komolika - The echoes of 'Naika' plays in background every time she makes an entry? Well, Ekta, in the video, explains the meaning of it, says "Naika means 'nakhra' (which means tantrums)."

There are reports doing the rounds that Bigg Boss 12 fame Hina Khan will play the iconic role of the new-age Komolika in Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes starrer KZK2. However, no official announcement has been made by Ekta Kapoor. But while speaking to SpotboyE, Urvashi Dholakia, who played Komolika character in the original version recently, had confirmed that it's Hina Khan, who will be taking her place in the reboot version.
