Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Parth Samthan and Erica Fernandez will premiere on Star Plus tonight and we can barely wait to watch the first episode. Ekta Kapoor’s hit 2001 show comes back with a reboot. The original show that featured Shweta Tripathi as Prerna and Cezanne Khan portrayed the role of Anurag Basu had a long and successful run on small screen. With Ekta revisiting her own show almost 17 years later the canvas has only gotten bigger and hopefully better. Those who were fans of KZK will obviously want to find out if the show lives up to the original. Parth and Erica's Chemistry

One of the strongest aspects of Kasautii was Anurag and Prerna’s awesome chemistry. And it would certainly be interesting to see if Parth and Erica manage to match up to Shweta and Cezanne or surpass them as far as their romance is concerned. Also it would be interesting to see if this fresh pairing manages to win over the audience.

Shah Rukh Khan's Voiceover

Ekta Kapoor certainly knows how to set the ball rolling. When she had two relatively younger stars in her show she decided to rope in a unique marketing aspect to her show by roping in King Khan. For those of you who do not know, Shah Rukh Khan will be lending his voice to KZK 2. Imagine having King of Romance narrate a love story... Well, it is no surprise then that reports suggest SRK charged a whopping sum for this guest appearance. It would be interesting to hear Shah Rukh Khan on the show, we bet his presence even through just his voice over would add a starry element to this serial.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay Title Track

Every time fans hear this song, we bet it brings a wave of nostalgia along with it. As the first episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 goes on air tonight, we are hoping to see it play in the background. What a magical moment would that be!
