Mumbai has been hit with heavy rains. The city has observed record-breaking rains in the past 24 hours. A similar situation was last observed in 2005. The weather office has sounded a red alert for Mumbai today. Social media is abuzz with #RainDost motivating citizens to open their homes and help others who are stuck in the rain. Popular TV actress Krystle D'Souza found herself stuck in the traffic and flooded streets when she had to seek help from her friend Karan Patel. In a detailed post, the actress narrated her ordeal. But nevertheless, Krystle and her friend, Rahul Sharma, made it to Karan's house safely. Both had to walk in waist deep waterlogging to get to a safe place. In her Instagram post, Krystle wrote, "We were stranded in the floods for a very long time on the road. Called @karan9198 since he lives close to where we were stuck and has an SUV and he was ready to come and pick us up in a min. Unfortunately, his car also broke down as well."

Rahul and Karan were really grateful for Karan and his wife, Ankita Bhargava, for helping them out. Both the actors took to their social media to thank the lovely couple for their gesture. Krystle was not the only one who was stuck in Mumbai today. Rakul Preet Singh had also tweeted that has been stuck at an airport as no flights were leaving from Mumbai.
