Also, on the eve of Christmas, which marked baby Mehr's first festival, Karan and Ankita dressed themselves and their baby up in red, in festive spirit. In one such post, Karan shared a black and white picture of Ankita, her baby bump and himself from what looks like the couple's maternity shoot. It can be recalled that this was Ankita's second pregnancy. Back in 2018, the television star couple had announced that they were expecting their second child, but a few weeks later, Ankita ended up suffering from a tragic miscarriage. This time around, Karan and Ankita kept the news under wraps for as long as the could and only posted about the same on Instagram after the birth of baby Mehr Karan Patel.
