Karan Patel Quits Yeh Hai Mohabbatein After Six Years for Khatron Ke Khiladi 10!
After quite the back and forth and multiple rumours surrounding the show going off air and his character Raman’s kidnapping and impending exit, Karan’s team has confirmed that the actor is indeed quitting the show.
After impressing and winning over hearts of television viewers for six years, actor Karan Patel will soon be quitting Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Despite playing the angry young man of television, Karan’s portrayal of Raman Bhalla made him a household name. However, looks like its time to move on for Karan, for the actor has quit his Star Plus show after six years and will next be seen on Colors’ Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. The statement read, “Yes Karan Patel is going to be moving on to participating in the show Khatron Ke Khiladi. We tried to work our dates out to accommodate many commitments, but because that did not seem possible we have chosen to end a very memorable journey of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that gave him so much love and care for which he will ever be grateful.”
The statement continued, “We are ever grateful to Ekta Kapoor and the entire team who have always shown Karan so much love and support, allowing him to grow beyond the show to take on new work commitments. We would like to duly mention that had it not been for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein a lot that has come our way including Khatron..., and all that would not have happened. I urge you to continue loving and adoring Karan the way you have all this while. Its a tough show we have up against us with Khatron Ke Khiladi make him win and lets cheer him on...and for all you know post it all we may soon enough see you at the movies." Rumours of Karan’s exit from the show started doing the rounds a few weeks back when the makers released a promo of Raman dying in a plane crash.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Karan mentioned that rumours of him leaving the show because of being unhappy with the storyline were baseless and said, “All good things come to an end and so does Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show will always remain close to my heart and I am thankful to Ekta Kapoor for giving me Raman Bhalla.” The report also mentioned that Karan will soon be leaving for Bulgaria to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 (KKK). Well, while now we eagerly await Karan’s replacement on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, we are also excited to see the hunk on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
