Karan's acting career took off after he rose to popularity as Arjun Punj with Kitani Mohabbat Hai and there has been no looking back for him ever since.

It is said that Karan also helps out his father in the family business which comprises of building infrastructural amenities for new buildings under construction and is also the owner of an International Call Center.

A host of Karan's award achievements include the 'Best Jodi Award' (2009), the 'TV Icon Of The Year Award' (2009) and also a few Business Awards.

Karan is in a long term relationship with model and VJ Anusha Dandekar. They have been dating since, 2016 and also host MTV Love School together.

It was also on this show that Anusha confessed that Karan who does not know how to dance at all, attempts to do so, just to keep her company and happy.
