After having 'sleepless nights' over the Koffee With Karan-Hardik Pandya fiasco, host Karan Johar is finally opening up on the issue. Earlier, he apologized for the entire episode where he invited cricketers KL Rahul and Hardik on his couch. After the misogynist and sexist statements by Pandya, both the players almost faced a ban by BCCI. However, now that the ban has been reportedly lifted, the filmmaker breathed sigh of relief saying that he is 'grateful' and that they do deserve a 'second chance'. In an interview with CNN News 18, the director said, "I am so happy to hear that, I am relieved and grateful for the BCCI to lift the ban. They deserved another chance and I am glad the Board has given them this chance."

Karan has also been several times called out for the kind of questions he asks on the show. Many a times, the quiz turns out to be outright sexist without the stars or KJO himself, realizing it. However, he also gave his remarks on the same saying that he now does look back and ponder upon the questions that he asked on his chat show. Speaking of this, he said, "When you’re hosting a show there are so many things that you’re doing. Very often I’ve watched a show of mine much later and said, what was I thinking when I said that, what was going through my mind."

Well, the host and judge of the popular celeb chat show has admitted to the flaws of the incident and that might make fans finally breathe a sigh of relief. Meanwhile, the show continues to go and make news with the quirky pairs of celebs on the couch till date.
