Kapil Sharma took the internet by a storm Friday night after he posted a couple of abusive tweets to a journalist and a telephonic conversation of him with the journalist went viral. Fans are disappointed, upset and some are confused, unable to understand why the comedian is behaving the way he is. This is not the Kapil we knew and loved. Ex-Girlfriend and colleague, Preeti Simoes, also spoke at length to the media about Kapil's changed behaviour. She hinted that people close to Kapil need to focus on his mental health and help him out. She also spoke about their relationship for the first time.
Kapil's fame rose so much that he even became a favourite among B-Town celebs. A lot of them know him and adore him. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta was also among one of those people who chose to comment on the entire Kapil controversy. The filmmaker pointed out that Kapil's language was despicable but also said that the journalist is not a saint either. Kapil has not spoken to the media at all yet. The comedian filed a harassment complaint against the journalist, Preeti and Neeti Simoes alleging that they are trying to extort Rs. 25 lakhs from him. Well, we do hope that the entire issue gets sorted out pretty soon.
