After the success of Pandya Store, Kanwar Dhillon is back as Sachin Deshmukh in Star Plus' show Udne Ki Aasha. The actor is playing the role of an alcoholic struggling young man in the serial. People have liked his performance immensely. The show has completed 100 episodes today and is in the top five shows for the channel. It is a huge thing for a serial that was launched during the IPL season. Thrilled, Kanwar Dhillon says, "Yes, the show launched a week before IPL, and despite being new, we managed to sustain our ratings throughout. Post-IPL, the ratings have again started to go up, and we haven't left the top five spot. I'm proud of Udne Ki Aasha and our journey. I think IPL was a testing time, and we passed it with flying colours."

Kanwar Dhillon is confident that Udne Ki Aasha is poised for a long run on the channel. The serial, which is about ties between friends and family is highly relatable on all levels. He said he is positive it will grow even more in the coming months. He was quoted as saying, "God willing, it should have a long run, as it has the potential. From day one, I've been confident about Udne Ki Aasha. The continued success is due to our fabulous team, right from the producers like Rahul Tewary, to the channel, writer, production team and cast members."
He gushed about how everyone was committed to the show and their work. Kanwar praised the camaraderie of the team. He stated, "Teamwork makes the dream work, and that's the secret mantra for our success." Rahul Tewary who is the producer is behind some of the biggest mythological shows like Mahabharat, Shani, Mahakali and more. This show is one of his independent ventures. Udne Ki Aasha is the remake of a South Indian show.
