Zee TV’s India’s Best Dramebaaz is an acting based reality show that airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM.
Kamal Haasan will be seen as a special celeb guest on this week's episode of India’s Best Dramebaaz, that airs on Zee TV. He will be promoting his upcoming movie, the multilingual Vishwaroopam 2 (Vishwaroop 2 in Hindi) on the show, along with his co-star Pooja Kumar. The movie is releasing on August 7, and therefore Kamal Haasan is doing his best to promote the movie where he can. He has also been to Salman Khan's Dus Ka Dum 3 as well.
So on India’s Best Dramebaaz, Kamal Haasan was left in awe with the 12 contestants that have been competing for being the best actors on the show. He was super-impressed and left teary-eyed by the acts of Harsh Raj Lucky and Shubhangi, who recreated a scene from Sadma. As you know that the cult classic film starred Kamal Haasan and the late Sridevi (and also features one of the most tragic endings in Hindi cinema).
Later, Kamal Haasan even sang a song from the film, the evergreen hit 'Surmayi Ankhiyon Mein' on the show. Remembering his co-star, Kamal Haasan shared, “It is very difficult to express this feeling. I met her when she was 15 and I was 20 at that time. I used to bully her a lot but also took good care of her. We played lovers in various films and many people assumed that we were real life lovers too but in fact, it was quite the opposite as we shared a brother-sister bond. A lot of siblings play the role of Radha Krishna in school functions and religious gatherings, we were just like that - Radha Krishna. My connection with Sridevi is actually like the one we portrayed in the film Sadma.”
