Kalank Actress Alia Bhatt Offended by Kiku Sharda’s Jokes on the Kapil Sharma Show? Here’s the Truth

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur's upcoming film Kalank is one of the most awaited films of the year. As the film is scheduled to hit the theatres April 17, 2019, the actors are on a promotional spree. Recently, Alia, Varun, Aditya and Sonakshi Sinha, on Monday, were on the sets of the hit comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show to promote the film. The actors and the comedians took to social networking site to share pictures from the sets on social media. However, there have been reports doing the rounds that Alia got offended during the shoot as a few jokes cracked by Kiku Sharda (who is seen on the show as Bachcha Yadav) during Ke Bhail Crorepati segment did not go down well with Alia. In a statement to Pinkvilla, Kiku said, "This is just a rumour. She has enjoyed a lot on the show. I have no idea how this rumour started, but if you watch the episode, you will see how much she has enjoyed on the show," further adding, "Alia is a very sporting person and has laughed a lot on the show." Well, it is clear that the reports are untrue.

For the uninitiated, Kiku, during Ke Bhail Crorepati segment, asked Alia, "How does a scooter start?" and then he only replied, "Bhatt, Bhatt, Bhatt, Bhatt…" Cracking another joke, Kiku asked her, "Is Mahesh Bhatt into construction business?" To this alia responded, "No." On this, Kiku said, "Then why did he make movies like Footpath and Sadak." Well, these funny question-answer section does not seem like he went overboard to us. But was it to Alia? We don't think so. Watch this space for further updates.
