Popular daily soaps Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bepannah are all geared up to celebrate Janmashtami with fun and enthusiasm. Indian television has always pumped up about festivals, be it Holi, Diwali or Eid. And with one of the biggest Hindu festivals, Krishna Janmashtami coming up, the TV serials got to have lavish celebrations. In the upcoming episodes of Star Plus’ YRKKH, Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) will be seen getting close during the Janmashtami celebrations. As for Colors TV’s romantic-thriller Bepannah, the lead pair Zoya and Aditya played by Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda along with Taher Shabbir as Arshad also promise to have loads of fun with Janmashtami 2018 special episode. According to the Hindu tradition and mythology, Janmashtami marks Lord Krishna’s birthday, and it calls for big celebrations. Starting with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the pictures of Kartik and Naira dressed up as Krishna and Radha has got their die-hard fans very happy. The duo who recently got divorced on the show will be spending some romantic moments is an exciting thought for the audience.
However, going by the pictures on social media, it is more likely to be a dream sequence where fans get to see Shivangi and Mohsin close to each other, much to the respite of fans who have been worrying about the impending marriage of Kartik and Ashi (Mrinal Singh). Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Kartik and Naira On Janmashtami
Shivangi, the 20-year-old leading lady of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is looking too beautiful in these photos from Janmashtami celebrations. Wearing a red-orange lehenga with gold jewellery, Shivangi as Naira is giving major ethnic wear goals. The girl has a very warm smile, and it is doing wonders in these scenes. Coming to Bepannah, Colors TV has made an announcement for all Zoya and Aditya (AdiYa) fans on their Instagram page. They write, “Get ready to celebrate Janmashtami with #AdiYa on #Bepannaah! Tune in for a super special 1-hour episode on 1st Sept, 7-8 PM. @jenniferwinget1 @harshad_chopda”. They have also posted a collage of Jennifer and Harshad from the Janmashtami episode, giving us a sneak peek of what to expect from it.
Zoya and Aditya Gear Up For Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations
Jennifer’s Zoya is dressed up in a pink lehenga with a green choli and sheer yellow dupatta. The 33-year-old who has wowed us with her traditional look in Bepannah, once again leaves us in awe of her. As for Harshad’s Aditya, the handsome guy also goes the traditional way. He is seen wearing a yellow kurta over white pyjama.
In Bepannah, we also have the famous Dahi Handi sequence. Dahi Handi is one of the important festive events during Gokulashtami in which Govindas form a human pyramid to reach the Dahi Handi (earthen pot) and break it just like Lord Krishna did with his friends as per mythology. Celebrating Dahi Handi in the serial, Harshad Chopda is joined by Taher Shabbir as Arshad.
Taher posted a pic of both actors enjoying shooting for Dahi Handi scene. He writes, “One of the best co-actors Iv ever worked with and the nicest guy @harshad_chopda Such a pleasure.
