Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma became one of the most loved pairs on Indian television after their stint in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja. Produced by Ashvini Yardi's Viniyard films and Akshay Kumar's production house Grazing Goat productions, the quirky story of how a son-in-law strives hard to bridge the gap between a mother and her daughter was received with a positive response by many. Jamai Raja enjoyed a successful stint of 3 years before it went off air in 2017. Ravi and Nia, have been shooting for Jamai Raja 2.0 in Pondicherry since last month and been obliging SidNi (Siddharth and Roshni, Ravi and Nia’s character names in the series) fans with regular posts and updates.

And now, the first promo of the show has been launched. But let us warn you, it is nothing like season 1 of Jamai Raja on Zee TV.

The promo is all about a revenge plot that has been orchestrated by the leading man Siddharth (Ravi Dubey) against DD aka Durga Devi Patel, a role that Achint Kaur will be reprising yet again. Also, just when you will begin to think that Jamai Raja 2.0’s storyline has nothing to do with the series first instalment, Ravi’s character Sid’s dialogue ‘Badla jitna purana ho, barbaad karne mein utna hi maza aata hai' will make you think otherwise.
