Television diva Surbhi Chandna, who is one of the most popular actresses in the tinsel town and is known for her unique style of acting, enthralled the viewers with her charm and acting chops as she played the character Annika Trivedi, a bubbly and outspoken girl in Star Plus' much-celebrated show in Ishqbaaaz. Now, it is being said that Surbhi, who is currently enjoying her sabbatical from the daily soap, is all set to return to the small screen, making her comeback with an upcoming show on Star Plus. Earlier, there were reports that suggested Siddharth Malhotra is all set to bring popular medical TV show Sanjivani back on the television. Now, the latest reports suggest that the makers are keen to launch the show by June this year. Yes, if the reports are anything to go by, Surbhi Chandna has been approached by the makers to play the female lead in the third season, while actor Namit Khanna might be seen playing Surbhi's love interest, although the hunt for the male lead seems to be still on.
In a statement to Pinkvilla, a source close to the development revealed, "The makers are hoping to begin shooting by May this year and set the ball rolling for the launch in June." However, it is still not clear what time slot the show might get but the channel will surely give it a prime time slot given the nature of the show. According to reports, apart from Surbhi, Gurdeep Kohli and Mohnish Behl, who were a part of season 1 as well, have also been roped in to be a part of the show. Reports also suggest that Siddharth Malhotra, who was a part of Cinevistaas then, might helm the project under his newly formed banner Alchemy. While we tried to reach producer Siddharth Malhotra to confirm the reports, there was no response. The show aired between 2002 and 2005. Later, the second season to the show titled Dill Mill Gayye was launched.
Sanjivani: A Medical Boon featured stellar cast like Gurdeep Kohli, Mihir Mishra, Rupali Ganguly, and Mohnish Behl, while its sequel Dill Mill Gaye saw actors like Karan Singh Grover, Sukriti Kandpal, Shilpa Anand, Karan Wahi and Jennifer Winget in the lead roles.

Yes, the actress is reportedly in love with a heartthrob named Karan Sharma; they are in a long distance relationship.
