Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Shivay(Nakuul Mehta) confronting Rishabh about Rakesh's death. Rakesh confesses to his crime saying Rakesh was always unwell and he had all the attention from their parents also after they passed away the entire responsibility fell on him. This made him hate his own brother, so he took massive insurance for his brother and caused his death to look like an accident by training Disco for it. Bhavya calls the police in, and Rishabh says that Shivay should make a note that one-day money will come in between him and his brothers too.

Later Rudra is left wondering if that would happen but Shivay and Om assure him that it would never happen. Next morning Om is seen struggling in the kitchen as Shivay and Rudra walk in. In between sobs, Om says that he is trying to make a cake for Gauri as he wants to cheer her up. Om says that he sends Khanna with the list of requirements but Khanna has not returned and he has not responded to any of his calls too.

Shivay remembers that Khanna looked distracted the other day too and he calls for Khanna. Rudra finds Khanna outside as he is frantically speaking to someone on the phone. Rudra asks him if all is well and takes him inside. Shivay shouts at Khanna and asks him to concentrate more on his work. Later the Oberois and Obahus have their moment in the kitchen as Gauri walks in too. They make Gauri sit, and Om serves her cake. Gauri is overwhelmed by his gesture. The couples enjoy the cake.

Shivay, Rudra and Om are walking out of their house so they can go to the office. They call for Khanna, but Khanna seems to be found nowhere. As they wait some men barge into the compound and throw stones at Shivay and drive away. Bhavya decides to inform her team to track the vehicle when Khanna runs in and says that it was intended at him. Khanna then relates his sad story. He says that he married a girl Mithali who is from another caste and it is her tribe and people who are now after his life, and they have also kidnapped Mithali.

Shivay decides to go himself to the family and convince them. He asks Khanna to get the car ready. Anika, Gauri and Bhavya insist on going as they say they can handle this situation better. While they argue Khanna gets kidnapped from their doorstep. Shivay, Om and Rudra rush to drive away.
