Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with the Oberoi couples sitting together as they feel sad for Rakesh's death. Om says that this is life and it is unpredictable. Shivay (Nakuul Mehta) is disturbed by Rakesh and the little conversation he had with Rakesh the other day. Shivay says that he feels there is foul play in this murder, but Bhavya refuses to take this. Shivay then tells the family about how Rakesh had asked him to save him from his brother.

Bhavya tells Shivay that if that is the case, then she will help him unofficially. Shivay, Om and Rudra decide to go to Rishabh's house. Shivay and Om send Rudra away to distract Rishabh. Rudra walks in and somehow welcomes him, self in even though Rishabh is very hesitant. Rudra is shocked to see that Rishabh is partying. Shivay and Om sneak into Rakesh's room and check around. Shivay and Om find out that Rishabh has his tickets booked for London. They now know that Rishabh is planning to leave the country.

Disco the dog starts barking, and Rishabh is alerted. Rudra tries to stop Rishabh in vain. Rishabh walks into the room to find Disco calm and later walks away with Rudra. Om makes Shivay shake hands with disco and clicks pictures. Anika(Surbhi Chandna), Gauri and Bhavya check the CCTV footages of the house and find that Julie's testimony is right. Shivay and Om walk in with Rudra as they discuss about Rishabh leaving the country. Bhavya is still confused about the motive. Shivay says that they have to stop Rishabh from travelling out of the country soon.

Rudra has a plan, and they arrange for a prayer meet in Rakesh's honour for this purpose. They invite Rishabh to it, and during the meet Rudra finds Rishabh speaking to an insurance agent. Now Shivay joins the dots, and they get to the motive which seems to be money. They decide to find out how this happened as no one entered the house and also the death was by accident. Shivay goes through the footage again and again. Anika is irritated at this and tells Shivay that he cannot find anything in it that he has not already seen. She taunts him saying if he would finally say that Disco killed Rakesh.

Shivay is struck by the idea, and later this gets more rooted as he hears a documentary about how dogs can be trained to do anything. Shivay speaks about this to his family, and they decide to check. The entire lot arrives at Rishabh's door as they do not let him leave. They ask him to sit down and eat with them. Rishabh says that he has to leave the place as he is going back to Delhi now. Shivay suggests that they should listen to Rishabh's show one last time together. They start listening to it as Rishabh panics. Rishabh asks Shivay to stop but he will not. Soon Disco jumps out of his chair and walks away as the family follows the dog. Disco walks into Rakesh's room and takes a live wire in its mouth and jumps onto Rakesh's bed.
