Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Anika(Surbhi Chandna) busy in her discussion with Lallan Bhai, the maker of her chappals. Shivay is amused as she bargains over a 300 rs chappal and later pays him 50 less. Shivay pays the man the amount Anika deducted, and Anika finds out. This sparks an argument, and Anika tells Shivay that why he is so upset when she is trying to save money. Rishabh enters hearing this and asks Anika and Shivay to join him for his talk show and do what they do the best, and that is debate.

Anika and Shivay agree to do this. Later Bhavya and Rudra are seen arguing about this money thing as Bhavya refuses to have a joint account with Rudra as she refuses to take any of his money. Bhavya says that she is a professional woman and she is independent and prefers to keep it that way. Anika agrees with Bhavya and also later Bhavya announces that she is joining work again.

Shivay is still worried about Rakesh and his accusation against his brother. Shivay sneaks into the compound and watches Rakesh. He sees Rakesh walking out of his room and making green tea later he walks back to his room and takes a book out as he sits on his bed to read. Shivay walks away, and afterwards, they join Rishabh on his talk show. Rishabh wants Anika and Shivay to talk about how money comes in between relationships. Anika and Shivay have a heated argument.

As the clock strikes noon, Rakesh once again walks out of his room and makes green tea for himself and later walk back into his room. But this time as soon as he switches on his lamp to read he gets a shock and dies. Rishabh is informed by the housekeeper Julie. Rishabh tells Anika and Shivay as they accompany him to his house. Shivay looks very confused as Bhavya is the investigating officer. Bhavya finds that there is no chance of any forced entry, so she decides to shut the case as that of accidental death. Shivay though does not seem very convinced about this.
