Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Roop asking Shivay(Nakuul Mehta) to stand up for the pheras and he demands to have the proof first. Roop says that he will get the proof after the pheras. Rudra signals Shivay to do as Roop says and Shivay stands up. Anika (Surbhi Chandna) in the secret room stands up as she again convinces herself that this is all Shivay's ploy and he would soon wrap up this drama. She decides to watch as she sees Shivay taking the pheras and she remembers herself and Shivay taking the pheras. Finally the pheras end and Shivay demands the proof. Roop instigates him and then gives him the pictures. Shivay says that he wants the fake suicide note of Anika's father.

Anika is now shattered as she thinks that Roop was right that Shivay is indeed choosing his family over her and her father. Roop gets Shivay a letter which is not the note and Shivay tears to throw it in the fire as Anika watches shocked further. Shivay demands Roop to get him the letter but Roop demands that he needs to push Anika out of his life and house then she will give him the proof. Roop then leaves the group to go and meet Anika who sits crying.

Anika is confronted by Roop who tells her that the Oberois are no ones own as they could not support their daughter then how would they support their daughter in law. Roop says that she has all the copies of the proof that she just gave to Shivay and she asks Anika to destroy the Oberois by giving it to the police thereby proving the Oberois guilty and her father innocent. Roop hands Anika the file as Anika drops it saying she cannot do this to Shivay or his family. Anika refuses to take any step without talking to Shivay and runs out of the room. Roop is shocked that even after so much of convincing Anika's trust is left headstrong in her trust. Roop decides to do something else. Roop goes to the mandap and asks everyone to smile and laugh for a picture. She makes them all laugh and Anika hears the laughter. Anika still moves forward but stops as she sees Shivay's hand on the new bride's shoulder.
