Ishqbaaz 23rd August 2018 Written Update of Full Episode: Anika Calls Off Her Wedding With Nikhil And Challenges Shivay to Accept His Love For Her
Tej and Jahnvi return home to find Shivay married and this leaves Jahnvi worried over Shivay's happiness.
Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Anika(Surbhi Chandna) speaking to Nikhil. She tells Nikhil that they are both aware of how there is no love between them and it was just because of a childhood friendship that this relationship escalated to marriage.
She adds that now that she is married to Shivay(Nakuul Mehta) she feels that she is destined to be with him and so she will not marry Nikhil. Nikhil is left furious as he asks her if this was a game and she cannot leave him like that.(Also Read: Shivay Dares Anika to Get Into The Pool With Him!)
Anika tells him that it was he who left her the first time and it was not her. She says that she is sorry for this, but she will not be marrying him anymore. Later Shivay is seen preparing for Anika's haldi, and he tries reaching Nikhil on the phone.
Anika walks up to him and says that she has called off the wedding. She calls him Billuji, and this surprises Shivay. She shows him the divorce papers in which he has signed as Billu. Shivay says that it was a mistake and that she should be ideally married to Nikhil.
Anika says that she is already married, and her happiness is with her husband. Shivay tries hard to convince her but in vain. Anika asks Shivay if he does not feel bad to connect her to a random guy. Shivay says he has no such feelings, to this Anika throws a glass of water on his face and Shivay is left shocked. Later they meet for the haldi. Anika teases Shivay in front of Om, Gauri and Priyanka.
She asks Gauri to call Shivay Jijaji and not Mr Oberoi. Gauri plays along and calls Shivay Jiju which Om readily records. They are surprised by the arrival of Tej and Jahnvi. The siblings welcome them.
Jahnvi is surprised by Anika, and Teja reprimands Shivay for not telling them when he got married. Anika apologises to the elders and says that they always need their blessings.
She nudges Shivay to take their blessing and winks at him while doing that. Jahnvi and Tej speak to Om. Tej is angry that Om is still under Shivay's shadows and all the deals are cracked by Shivay.
Om says that Shivay is his brother and he loves him too much. Jahnvi is confused about Shivay and Anika's, and she says that Shivay never hides things from her and she feels there is something going on. Shivay tries to tell Anika that he wants her to get married to Nikhil as he will not be able to give her any joys.
