Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Anika(Surbhi Chandna) telling Nikhil's mother that the sindoor on her forehead is just her faith in marriage and nothing more.

The woman is left pacified by this information. Om is furious and tells Priyanka and Gauri that if the two of them are not going, to tell the truth then he himself will.

Gauri and Priyanka manage to calm Om down by saying that if it was fate that brought them together, then fate will do that again. As the functions proceed, Nikhil gets a video message.

It is the video of Anika and Shivay's marriage. This infuriates him, and he drags Anika away. He asks Anika what it was all about. Anika tells Nikhil the truth, but Shivay(Nakuul Mehta) steps in and says that all of this was his fault and he has forced Anika into it.

Nikhil though wants them to prove that they have nothing between them. Anika steps in and says that this is the second time that Nikhil is not trusting her and she says that she wants him to take a decision now.

She says that she will not keep justifying herself all through their lives. Nikhil says that he does trust her. Shivay looks at the video and realises who it is from.

He confronts Tyagi who demands a crore for not making the video viral. Shivay pays him off. Shivay consoles Anika saying he has ensured that the video never comes out.

Anika is at peace though and asks him if he has ever wondered what he himself wants. She also asks him if he thinks she will be happy with Nikhil, he says that she and Nikhil are destined to be together.

Tyagi meets Daksh and gives him the crore cheque. Daksh says that they will soon destroy Shivay. Nikhil joins them too, and the three of them now plot on taking over Shivay's empire.

Next morning Chachi is complaining about Anika to Gauri. She says that Anika is stubborn about wearing the same mangalsutra. Gauri goes to give the mangalsutra to Shivay so he can give it to the pandit.

Shivay looks at the mangalsutra and realises that it is the same that he made Anika wear. He asks for a new one, but Anika lashes out at him. Anika says that since they have left it all to fate so now he should not interfere with her fate.

Daksh asks Nikhil to get Anika out of Shivay's life once and for all. Shivay comes searching for Anika and finds her trying the bridal dupatta. He is mesmerised in her as he forgets about what he came there for.
