Today's episode of Ishqbaaz starts with Shivay(Nakuul Mehta) being the SSO that we knew once. Om and Rudra try teasing him so that he speaks up, but Shivay asks Om about a business deal. Om reminds Shivay that he is getting married and he should be happy. Dadi too walks in and asks Shivay if he is not happy about his wedding. Rudra gets Jahnvi's call in between, and we see Shivay becoming thoughtful.

Anika(Surbhi Chandna) on the other hand is seen speaking to Sahil as she worries over the power supply going off in their house. A woman barges in and screams at Anika. She insults Anika and says rude things to her, but Sahil stands up for her. Later the house owner woman comes in and tells Anika that she needs to pay the rent for the house which has been due for months and now the electricity bills and the water supply too.

Anika tells the woman that she would soon repay all her dues. Her Chachi and Sahil's mother scream at her asking where she would bring the money from and that if she is hoping for a lottery. Sahil makes his mother quiet and tells the landlady that she should speak to him. The landlady pushes Sahil down, and he gets hurt. Chachi blames Anika for this.

Anika tends to Sahil's wounds and asks him to get ready for school as she gets water from outside. Anika speaks to Chachi asking her not to create the drama in front of Sahil at least. Chachi calls Anika names and also says that Anika's mother was a characterless woman, and so is she. Anika goes on to get water as she is tormented by Chachi's words. Shivay does a pooja with his brothers, and later he goes off to work even as Dadi stops him.

Later Shivay is confronted by a journalist who threatens to expose a family secret to the world. The journalist says that he is aware that Shivay's father was killed by his mother, Pinky Oberoi due to his affairs. Shivay is furious and thrashes the man. He is left distraught as he throws things around. Later he asks Dadi if this is all true as he remembers hearing their arguments and then a gunshot. Dadi asks Shivay to not listen to the world.
