The device, which aimed to help individuals, especially women, to achieve a "Gol Nabhi", became one of the biggest jokes on Shark Tank India during season 1. The product which promised a eoun, deep navel became was not taken seriously by anyone. However, a couple of years later, Baldev Jumani, the founder has reported 100x growth with their products being sold in 5 countries.

Baldev Jumnani Opens Up on Growth Post Shark Tank India

During their pitch on the show, Baldev Jumani and Jayshree Jumnani had asked for INR 10 lakh in exchange for 20% equity at their company. As reported by the founders, the product costed INR 650 and had done a sale of INR 4.5 lakh before appearing on the show. The Sharks, however, did not find their business interesting, and it went on to be called one of the funniest pitches on the show.

Years later, Navel Fukai has reported a 100% growth in its business, with products distributed across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bhopal. Its products are now also available internationally in Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, and the United States. In the US, the Navel Fukai products are available at Walmart.

According to the YouTube channel Backstage With Millionaires, co-founders Baldev and Jayashree Jumnani were given scripts by the makers of Shark Tank India during their appearance on the show. According to Baldev, they were instructed to present their pharma product as a fantasy product to boost TRPs. The first season of Shark Tank India premiered on December 20, 2021 and concluded on February 11, 2022. The season had 36 episodes with Sharks Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Ghazal Alagh, Namita Thapar, Peeyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh.
