Hina, who is quite a hit among fans with her role as the vivacious Komolika, is reported taking a break for some months from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Yes, the actress, whose much-hyped entry on the show as Komolika generated a lot of curiosity among the viewers, will be missing from the show post-March. Talking about it, in a statement to Bombay Times, the actress said, "I am not quitting Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, but I am going on a break for five-six months, as I have given my nod to a movie." Also, the actress, in her recent live session with her fans, had said that she is heading to Cannes this year with her new film Lines, and has some international projects in the pipeline too.

Amidst reports of her quitting the show, the actress took to social media to share a couple of pictures of her, where she is seen donning the Komolika look. On the professional front, Hina Khan has been roped in to play the iconic role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's reboot version of 90s love saga Kasautii Zindagii Kay. KZK 2 stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in the lead roles, who play Anurag and Prerna respectively. Hina has also bagged Ekta Kapoor’s another project apart from Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.
