Here's Who Will Play The Baddie In And TV's Sairat-Dhadak Adaptation
The show will go on floors next month onwards.
And TV is all set to adapt Sairat and Dhadak to the small screens. While both the stories are all about Romeo and Juliet, their epic love and how their love story that met an uneventful end, Sairat and Dhadak had their own twists and angles. Sairat became a Marathi cult film and its actors Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar became sensations. As for Dhadak, which was the Hindi remake of Sairat, it had actors Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar. And while the big screen has seen these films and cherished them, small screen will also be seeing another Romeo-Juliet story. Yes, And TV will soon present to its viewers a love story based on the movies.
Just like Dhadak, this yet to be titled show will have Rajashthan as its backdrop. And makers have roped in the bad daddy already. The character will be played by Udaan antagonist Sai Ballal.
The show is said to be in the very initial stages and in fact, no other actor has been finalized yet. Well, what remains to be seen is how the makers will plan on executing the storyline and its end. Both the movies had similar plotlines (obviously) and different endings. While Sairat saw the couple being killed by the girl’s father, Dhadak makers changed the ending by killing the hero.
Will we see some more of Kamal Narayan Rajvanshi and some more Udaan like drama in this one too?
