Ekta Kapoor, the reigning queen on Indian TV shows for over two decades, turns a year older today (June 6) and her fellow colleagues and ardent fans have been sending in their birthday wishes on social media. While Hina wrote, "Candid but real.. she only knows how to make people smile.. Shine on @ektaravikapoor Happy Birthday," Erica captioned her post as, "On this very day we are celebrating you in our lives Wishing you a very very happy birthday @ektaravikapoor 🤗😘 and may you be flooded with a lot more love , happiness and success." Anita too took to the photo-sharing app to share a couple of pictures and wrote, "Mommy Ektu here’s wishing you all the happiness in the world on your birth day..."

Anita further added, "This year is extra special as you turn extra responsible extra settled extra happy extra focused extra hardworking (as always) and extra SEXY(wonder how Ravie is really lucky to have you as his mother and I am very lucky to have you as my friend. Once again happy birthday precious Love you to the moon n back!"

Mouni also shared pictures with Ekta and wrote, "'The world to her was a secret, which She desired to discover; to her it was a vacancy, which she sought to people with imaginations of her own' Such is you ; with a heart of gold. Happy happiest birthday @ektaravikapoor ma’am ; mentor , guide and my reason to come to bombay."

Mouni's caption further read, "I wish you health & happiness & heart fullll of love. Meanwhile, Ekta, Ekta also took to the photo-sharing app to launch the poster of her (ALTBalaji's) new show. Giving the audience a sneak peek into the cast of their power-packed female ensemble, Ekta wrote, "Today on my birthday we launch the poster of our new show that we decided to make 2.5 Years ago when I chanced upon this amazing story about women in Indian science."
