Game Of Thrones Season 8's fourth episode released last week and this time, fans were left disappointed with a couple of things. While there was a lot of cheer seeing that Jon Snow's (Kit Harrington) direwolf Ghost had survived the Battle of Winterfell. Although, in the episode, we saw Jon bid farewell to his pet as he left for King's Landing, leaving Ghost in the care of his Wildling friend Tormund. What fans found most disappointing though was that Jon merely left without even having a petting moment on-screen. Social media was abuzz with reactions about Jon Snow being a bad pet parent and now the director David Nutter has clarified why the episode had Jon Snow bidding a half-hearted goodbye to Ghost. “Since the direwolves are kind of CG creations, we felt it best to keep it as simple as possible,” said Nutter. “And I think that it played out much more powerfully that way.”

Not just the director but actor Kristofer Hivju who plays Tormund in the series also supported Jon's decision and told HuffPost, “I think Jon is right that the south isn’t the place for a direwolf. In Episode 2 or 3 they killed one of them [Lady, Sansa’s direwolf] — it’s a wild animal, it’s like a wolf plus two! I think it’s best for Ghost to go north.”Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4: Brienne and Jaime Lannister’s Sex Scene Dubbed As Oathsex by the Internet.
While we are two episodes from the finale, anything could happen and we are not sure if there's some particular reason that Ghost has been posted in the North. In the meantime, the war in the South is sure going to be legendary. Let's see what episode five has to offer us.
