Game of Thrones, the popular HBO series is returning with its final season comprising of mere six episodes. This 8th season will answer all the unanswered questions and it's time to finally greet the new ruler who will rule through the Iron Throne. After the death of some favourite characters and gruesome battles, this new season is bound to leave its fans teary-eyed and millennials will soon start experiencing what they call #MajorMissing. Honestly, I wasn't really impressed with its first season until it ended on a sad note. And what followed next was a delightful run filled with revenge, sacrifices, bloodshed and some mind-blowing twists. Game Of Thrones 8 Premiere: Emilia Clarke, Jason Momoa, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner Had A Blast At The Red Carpet - View Pics.

On that note, let's go back to the time from where it all started. Season 1 started on April 17, 2011, and the first episode was all about Baratheons coming to the Winterfell to greet the Starks. Also, thanks to this same episode, I became aware of the definition of the incest. Cersei Lannister being in a sexual relationship with her own brother, Jamie, was what Ranveer Singh would call mindich blowing. The same relationship was eventually responsible for crippling Bran Stark for the rest of his life.

Later Ned Stark agrees to go to King's Landing as Robert Baratheon's Hand of the King and Jon Snow willingly decided to be a part of Night's Watch - an army that protects a giant ice wall from the undead white walkers and wildlings. Meanwhile, Ned's wife, Caitlyn Stark suspects Cersei's second brother, Tyrion Lannister of attempting to kill her child (Bran). Game of Thrones Star Sophie Turner Shows Maisie Williams aka Arya Stark Her Bollywood Dance Moves From Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra’s Wedding! Next comes Daenerys Targaryen who's now married to Khal Drogo, the leader of Dothraki tribe. She shares a history with the Baratheons and they attempt her assassination. When their attempt fails, Daenerys swears to attack the King's Landing and reclaim the throne.

Meanwhile Ned Stark is busy solving the mystery of the death of King's previous hand. Amid the same search, he finds out that Prince Joffrey is not Robert Baratheon's child but Jamie's. When the present king returns wounded from a hunting trip and loses his life, Ned confronts Cersei about the truth of her son, Joffrey. He even reveals this information to the council but is betrayed by them and imprisoned. His daughters, Sansa and Arya Stark are also captured by Cersei and her loyalists. While Arya manages to escape, Sansa stays back for a horrific future. Game of Thrones Season 8: The New Promo Gives us a Glimpse About the Aftermath of Battle of Winterfell – Watch Video.
