Rumours of the comedian returning to the Sony TV show have started swirling again.
And the age-old rumours are back again, of comedian Sunil Grover returning to The Kapil Sharma Show. Ever since the pair’s mid-air brawl last year and their bad break up, both Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma have been in constant spotlight. It can be recalled that while returning from a show in Dubai, Kapil got into a fight with Sunil, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar, post which the trio left The Kapil Sharma Show. Eventually, the show also shut down and reports of Kapil’s growing unprofessionalism also increased. Post this, Kapil took a break and promised to return to the television screens soon and he did, with a new show titled Family Time With Kapil Sharma. However, after airing 2 episodes, the show also shut down and Kapil vanished from the media spotlight.
He did, however, make a roaring comeback with the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show in December, this time with the show being backed up by none other than Salman Khan. A source close to Sunil Grover,
“Sunil has no plans of returning to The Kapil Sharma Show anytime soon. He is currently shooting for Bharat and still has two episodes of Kanpur Wale Khuranas to shoot. But it can be said that Sunil will not be returning to the show as of now.”
As we said earlier, rumours of Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover re-uniting are not new. It is also not a hidden fact that Kapil Sharma has not only apologized to Sunil Grover multiple times but also has said that Sunil is always welcome on his team. Well, now only time and Sunil can tell us when will the reunion happen.
