Recently Star Plus unveiled the promo of their upcoming show titled Ek Bhram- Sarvagun Sampanna starring Shrenu Parikh, who was last seen in Star Plus' popular Ishqbaaz as Gauri Singh Oberoi, as Jahnvi. The show has garnered attention, even before hitting the small screen. From speculating if Shrenu Parikh's Ek Bhram is based on a real-life Indian family to its controversial storyline, the show has been making headlines ever since the makers dropped the first promo online. This time, Shrenu's upcoming show is in the news as the makers have received threat calls from several high-profile Indian families who "fear their secrets being unveiled." In a statement to Mid-Day, a source associated with the project said, "Ever since the promo released, the makers have received [threat] calls from various influential families interrogating if it is based on their lives. Though it is based on one powerful Indian family, the producers are currently unwilling to disclose details to viewers. In Ek Brham Sarvagun Sampanna, Shrenu will be seen essaying the role of an adarsh bahu but a version of an exact opposite to the conventional docile daughter-in-law. Earlier, talking about her character in her upcoming show, Shrenu had said, "When I bagged the role of Jhanvi through Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, it was like a dream come true. But I am not playing a typical Tulsi or Parvati on the show. Jhanvi is so layered and crafted so carefully that it surprises me every day."
