The Actor Grew Up in a Broken Home

Eijaz Khan who grew up in Mumbai did not have an easy childhood. His parents separated when he was three. After that, his mother stayed back in Hyderabad with his sister while his brother and he moved to Mumbai with their dad. His parents did not maintain any kind of contact after the separation. When He Opened Up on Being Molested as a Kid

The actor also confessed on Bigg Boss 14 that he was molested as a kid. He said no one other than his therapist knew the truth. Eijaz Khan apologized to his father for hiding this dark secret of his life. He said he had a problem with ‘physical touch’. Eijaz Khan said it angers him to no end. After knowing this, Pavitra Punia left a heartfelt encouraging message for him. ‘Jawan’ Actor Highlighted Need for Mental Health Education

Eijaz Khan said the period from 2015 to 2017 was tough for him. He said he could not work due to mental and physical health issues. Eijaz Khan said that healing from mental health issues is an ongoing process and one cannot rush into it. The actor said that it was sad that generations after generations tried to belittle depression saying it was just a ploy to seek sympathy. Eijaz Khan has strongly said that he would like to spread awareness about depression, and feels access to mental health care is a must.

When He Spoke About Cheating on His Ex

The Moh Moh Ke Dhaage actor also admitted on Rajeev Khandelwal’s Juzz Baat that he had once cheated on one of his girlfriends. Media portals assumed it was Anita Hassanandani and made headlines on the same. Eijaz Khan later said it was not the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress. He said he did not take her name as she was in no way connected to the world of showbiz.

Eijaz Khan has been super busy with his OTT shows of late. He said work kept him going after his split with Pavitra Punia. The two had been together for close to three years.
