'DuckTales, woohoo!' That's how mornings would begin and the mundane task of getting ready for school was made better back in the early 90s. The energy of DuckTales Hindi theme song 'Zindagi Toofani Hai' has been reprised by the always smiling singer Shaan and his 13-year-old son Shubh and we have to say, we're back to childhood days.
Back in the 90s, I remember how sometimes we would just wait for the DuckTales song during the Disney Hour on Sony Entertainment Television because not always would we have the time to watch the cartoon. That song would lift us up as kids. I mean what in the earth makes getting ready for school a happier task?
Thanks to Shaan and Shubh, the new DuckTales song doesn't ruin the older version. The beats, the energy, the sound effects are pretty much maintained in the new version. There are very little changes made to the lyrics, but that's refreshing. For those who remember singing it along in the 90s, this version also totally makes you sing along and go 'Woooo'!
Here's the video! Sing along!
The only thing that sounds different is that in the older version, singer Amit Kumar's voice would sound just like Uncle Scrooge would have sung it, you know? That old man's voice? Shaan and Shubh sound sweeter, but nevertheless, the essence of the older version is maintained.
Disney Channel is bringing back the adventures of Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby and Uncle Scrooge with Season 2 of everyone's beloved animated series DuckTales. The new season is set to premiere on October 20.
