Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s wedding has easily become the talk of the town. And why not? The on- screen, off- screen couple has been ruling hearts for seven years now as TV sweethearts ‘Simar’ and ‘Prem’ through serial ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. Their marriage was a low- key affair held in palatial home of the groom, Bhopal, in a typical traditional Muslim style. Needless to say, the duo looked beautiful and happy together during all the pre- wedding and wedding ceremonies. As the wedding was far from the town of the stars, the actors are making sure that they make up to it, by throwing a starry reception in Mumbai.

The reception saw who’s who from the Television industry and couple’s close friends. Earlier, revealing some tid- bits on their inter- religion marriage, Dipika told a leading daily,” It was never an issue between us as we have our priorities sorted. We are mature people and understand each other well. Be it work or personal life, we take all decisions together as that’s how our relationship has been formed."

Well, just as the fans expected, Dipika and Shoaib made them a part of their shimmery ceremonies through the social media. It will be interesting for the fans to watch them romance on-screening after getting hitched, although nothing major will change!
