Fans couldn’t contain their excitement as the news of season 2 broke and took to social media to express their sense of happiness. Today, the TV Producer took to social media to announce that Dil Hi To Hai 2 will be streaming on their platform, ALTBalaji from February 2. Sharing the trailer of Dil Hi To Hai 2, Ekta wrote on Instagram, "A second life a second chance a second season ! As the heart wants wat it does ...#dilhitohhai from 2nd feb every Saturday Tuesday Thursday on @altbalaji" In the trailer, we see that the show has taken a leap of six years. Going by the promo, we see that Ritvik and Palak commencing the season on a sour note.

The second season will stream on ALTBalaji from February 2 every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Dil Hi Toh Hai, that started with a lot of hype and anticipation, saw the return of Karan Kundra to the small screen and was the debut of Yogita Bihani, who plays the female protagonist Palak Sharma. Reports earlier had suggested that Dil Hi Toh Hai was loosely based on Karan Johar’s extremely popular and rather iconic movie, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Watch this space for further updates.
