Kundali Bhagya is one show that has been topping the charts ever since the first episode aired. Kundali Bhagya completes one year today and is still one of the most watched shows in the country. We got in touch with the dashing protagonist, Karan Luthra, played by Dheeraj Dhoopar for some exciting scoop around the show. Dheeraj spoke about how grateful he is to the audience for accepting him the way they did and for making the show such a huge success. He also spilled beans on his favourite track in the show so far and what he feels about competing with Naagin 3 in terms of TRP.

Dheeraj is also one of the most stylish men in the industry, who was actually a fashion designer by profession before acting happened to him. The actor also revealed his plans to venture in the fashion world apart from charming the audience in Kundali Bhagya. He sure has a treat for fans coming up pretty soon. Speaking about the success of the show, Dheeraj tells us, "I am excited about the fact that since the inception of the show, we have been on top, in times where shows are going off-air within a span of 3-4 months. I got so much love and appreciation for playing Karan Luthra. I have become a household name and on top of the world."

What has been your favourite track in the show so far?

There are a lot of them but if you are looking for one, then it has to be the Haveli track. In fact, it got a TRP of 3.2 that time.

You have to compete with Naagin 3, which holds a record of ruling the TRP charts every season.

No, I don't see it that way. Naagin is also a Balaji show, it's doing really well but it's a totally different show. It's a weekly show while Kundali Bhagya airs 5 days a week. There is no competition as such since it airs on the weekends and ours on weekdays. But I don't think about it too much. My job is to act and deliver. These two shows are very different from each other and they also have a different set of audience.

Karan and Preetha's chemistry is one of the most loved after Abhi and Pragya

Thank you! It's great to hear these compliments that people give us. We are doing such a show for the first time and getting this kind of a response is huge. Shraddha (Arya) is a good friend and we share a great chemistry together. We are really happy with the feedback that we are getting.

You had once told me that you are going to start fashion blog soon. Is that happening?

I'm spending most of my time with Kundali right now but things are falling in place. Something will come up really soon!
