With all that's going on between India and Pakistan post the second surgical strike, celebrities on both sides have been taking to social media to share their views. Not long ago, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan took to Twitter to speak about the reckless statements that have been going on in India as well as Pakistan about going to war. Responding to her tweet, Indian television actress Devolena Bhattacharjee went on to take a potshot at the Raees actress which further led to a heated exchange with a Pakistani fan.

Mahira Khan quoted Pakistani author Fatima Bhutto's tweet saying, "Nothing uglier. Nothing more ignorant than cheering for war. May sense prevail.. Pakistan zindabad." Even though Mahira's tweet drew her a lot of backlash, Indin actress Devoleena's reply came as shock. The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress responded saying, "Ugliest would be then if anyone feels uglier & criticise a war against terrorism...Never mind. Nation's love indeed make us blind but not terrorism. #JaiHind."#BringBackAbhinandan: Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar and Other Bollywood Celebs Wish For IAF Pilot's Safe Return (Read Tweets)

While everyone thought Devoleena's tweet would evoke a response from Mahira, the latter did not respond to the tweet. Although, Devoleen further got into a heated exchange with a Pakistani user on the micro-blogging site. The TV actress lashed out at the Twitter user saying, " "Mind your language Madam. Seems like you are well aware of the war against it. The reason you have been suffering from is within your country. So rather having some baseless ted talks help those who are helping to clean the garbage.at least don't send it here..#IndiaStrikesBack." This further went on for a few more tweets until the actress finally stopped responding.

Here's Devoleena's exchange with a Pakistani user:
