Renowned television anchor Manimegalai recently stopped hosting the popular Tamil cooking-based reality show Cooku with Comali (CWC) Season 5 due to a dispute with "another female anchor" Priyanka Deshpande, who is a contestant on the show. Taking to her Instagram handle on Sunday, September 17, Manimegalai penned a long note and revealed how the contestant completely dominated her, forgetting that she is just a participant on CWC. Posting a picture from a puja ceremony on the show, Manimegalai announced, "Not a part of Cook With Comali anymore. With utmost sincerity, honesty, & dedication, I always give my 100% effort & hard work in whichever programme I'm committed to. Same with CWC Since 2019 Nov, where the journey of the stress buster show began." ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 8’ Promo: Host Vijay Sethupathi Ready To Inject Fresh Energy and Unveil Unexpected Twists in the Reality Show (Watch Video).
Manimegalai Confirms Her Exit From ‘Cooku With Comali’
Speaking about how self-respect remains her top priority, Manimegalai explained that she would not trade it even with money, fame or opportunities. Further explaining her sudden exit from the show, she wrote, "This season was completely dominated by another female anchor, especially in Anchors Part, who was actually supposed to be a cook of the show, but she often forgets that & deliberately interrupts alot in Anchor portions by not letting me to do the Job. Even asking for our rights & raising a concern becomes as an offence in this season. But ill always raise voice for whatever is right for me & i don’t care about anybody (sic)."

Had ups & downs but never experienced such immature behaviours. But I still wish only the best to the person who did this to me. May god bless her with more shows & opportunities so that others will not be suffered.
