Comedian Sidharth Sagar, who became a household name with shows like 'Comedy Circus' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show', made headlines for his personal life. The actor, who got engaged to actress Subuhi Joshi last year in November, have called off their engagement. According to a report in Times of India, the couple separated because the comedian has apparently been violent with his fiancé. Speaking to TOI, Subuhi accused her ex-fiance of physical abuse while Sidharth said that incompatibility issues led to their break up.

In a statement to the daily Subuhi said, "The problem is with his attitude and behaviour, but I did try my best to save the relationship. I have seen his dark side; he loses his cool over petty issues and can get violent. Woh haath uthaata hai aur cheezein phekta hai." She also added how she even once called cops as Sidharth had hit her.

On the other hand, Sidharth told the leading daily, "About the incident when she called the cops, we had an argument and Subuhi hit me first. My nose started bleeding. She wasn’t leaving me and in an attempt to release myself, I moved her away from me. She could have got hurt in that process. I fled the house forgetting my phone behind. When I came back to collect my phone, Subuhi had already called the cops. I could have done that too, but I didn’t want the matter to escalate."

Sidharth and Subuhi's Engagement Picture:

Clarified his side of the story, Sidharth revealed to SpotboyE all the dirty details of why the two called off their engagement. He said, "I am not a person who believes in going for parties and chilling with friends to lighten up the mood. Subuhi wanted me to do and when I didn't, she started getting very cranky, The cracks deepened in March when Colors offered me to participate in Bigg Boss 13 with her, Then I was asked to do Nach Baliye 9, then one more show on ZEE 5 was offered to us as a couple--- but I refused all."

Comedian also added, "She has already moved on and I am seeing her partying and living her life. I will also do the same. After all I also have a life and it's my right to enjoy it. Lastly I would just say if you don't want to be with someone, don't make it look so ugly." For the uninitiated, Subuhi and Sidharth first met in 2014, who then dated for two years, but things turned sour and the duo called it quits in 2016. However, they reconciled and took their relationship to the next level only to realise that it is not working out for both of them.
