Presently, the prime time shows are being ruled by children. These kids, who are full of life and bring freshness to the shows, are already giving experienced actors a run for their money. Over the years, Indian Television Industry has seen some memorable, iconic roles essayed by child actors. Spandan Chaturvedi - Udaan

Spandan Chaturvedi, who started her career with the 2012 drama series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, rose to fame after she portrayed the role 'Chakor' in Colors TV show Udaan. The child actress not only impressed the ardent viewers with her impressive acting but also won several awards, including the Zee Gold Award for Best Child Actor.

Ruhanika Dhawan gained popularity with her stint in Star Plus' popular show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. The cheerful 10-year-old made a place in everyone's heart as little Ruhi in Ekta Kapoor's show. She was one of the major reasons of the show's success. When the show took a two year leap, many were not happy as they could no longer see Ruhanika in the show. However, the makers played it safe by retaining the child actress as Pihu (Raman and Ishita's surrogate child).

Sparsh Khanchandani - Uttaran

Super talented Sparsh Khanchandani, who was popular for her role (young) 'Ichcha' in Uttaran along with Nandish Singh and Rashmi Desai, won millions of hearts by her brilliant acting. Furthermore, the actress also played the role of 'Mia' in The Princess Tales. Sparsh also impressed you with her stellar performances in Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, where she brilliantly essayed the role of Raashi.

Remember this cutie from Sony TV's much-celebrated show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, which featured Erica Fernandes as Sonakshi Bose and Shaheer Sheikh as Dev Dixit. Vidvaan was introduced in the second season. After KRPKAB was pulled off by the channel suddenly, the show was back as a finite series on popular demand of the fans. Vidvaan not only impressed the ardent fans of the show with his adorable smile but Erica and Shaheer were also a huge fan of him. The pictures of Vidvaan shared by them on their respective Instagram handles was a proof to that.

Shivansh Kotia, who is currently seen essaying the adorable role of Naksh Singhaniya aka Duggu in Star Plus’ much-beloved show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, started his career with Sab TV’s Mrs Tendulkar. Later, he has done a number of soap operas. The kid has also done Bollywood films, He  played Sridevi’s character’s son in the film English Vinglish, and has made appearances in Krrish 3 and Boss.
