It's wedding galore in the B-town. Add one more to the list. Popular TV actress Shweta Basu Prasad tied the knot with longtime beau Rohit Mittal in an intimate wedding ceremony. The wedding-related festivities took place in Pune, where the couple tied the knot today. The first pictures of the couple were published by friends and family members on social media. The netizen were able to fish out the pictures, which are now trending on the internet.

As per reports, Shweta and Rohit will have a wedding as per two rituals. One by Bengali tradition, followed by another by Marwadi rituals. Isn't that cool? In the picture below, you can see that the actress is dressed in a Bengali headgear worn by the brides.

As per a TOI report, "The two have been together for four years now and got engaged last year. Both belong to the film fraternity and have collaborated on short films. Not many know that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was instrumental in getting the two together as both Shweta and Rohit are close to him,"

Shweta Basu Prasad is 27 years old. She is best known for her performance as a child artist in the Vishal Bhardwaj film Makdee, Nagesh Kukkunoor film Iqbal and the popular Ekta Kapoor daily soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. The actress was recently seen in the TV show Chandra Nandini, which went on to become very popular. She was paired opposite Rajat Tokas in the show.
