Chahat Khanna Confirms That She Is Heading for a Divorce With Husband Farhan Mirza

Chahat Khanna got the internet talking a couple of days back when she posted a picture of her daughters and used #singlemom. Rumours of trouble in paradise started doing rounds and the actress has finally confirmed the news now. She is parting ways with her businessman husband, Farhan Mirza. The Bade Ache Lagte Hai actress told Pinkvilla, "It's my personal life and I don't need to give clarification to any other than my family, but yes it's true, its been some weeks we have separated and filing for a divorce, reasons are too personal to be disclosed. I request fans and people to respect our privacy [sic]."

Chahat was previously married to Bharat Narsinghani and her previous relationship ended because of physical abuse. The actress has two daughters, Zohar and Amaira. She got married to Farhan in February 2013. Speculations about Chahat's troubled marriage rose when she posted a picture with her daughters and wrote, "My life has this only reason to make your life a fairytale #zohar #amaira @zomairababygirls #mummasgirls #family #singlemom #sibblings #daughters #Mylife #myhome #angels #mysouls #love #mama [sic]". Earlier when TOI had contacted the actress, she said, "I think it is too early to comment on it. I shall comment on it when the time is right. I am glad you called me up rather than just writing about it. I request media to give me the much-deserved privacy."
