Ekta Kapoor has touched the nerve of web-audience like nobody else, with her digital platform Alt Balaji. With the kind of content that is being served on the platform, Ekta has managed to garner not only quite a lot of appreciation but also a huge fan base for her digital content. After shows like The Test Case, Bose: Dead Or Alive,  Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat and Home to name a few, Ekta is back with 'Broken But Beautiful', which is an intense love story, starring Vikrant Massey as Veer and Harleen Sethi as Sameera in the lead roles. Vikrant Massey-Harleen Sethi's Broken Is Here For All The Shattered Hearts Out There!

The story of Broken, follows the journey of two heartbroken individuals who meet and embark on a journey of fixing each other.

For the past few days, Ekta has been teasing fans and promoting the series by posting clips from her shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein with the background score of Broken. And while ardent fans were obviously very quick to guess the same, the sound score was officially launched a few days back and fans have been loving it. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Ekta Kapoor Shares New Love Anthem for Anurag & Prerna – Watch Video.

The much-awaited trailer was launched a few hours back and here's what we feel about it.

The trailer starts with the audience getting an idea of who Sameera and Veer are and the story of how their hearts are broken. The duo meets one day and Sameera narrates her story to Veer,  who accepts that he is 'fraternised' on meeting someone as broken as he is. After a few chance meetings, the duo strikes a bond and with this, Veer also reveals his struggles of coping, to Sameera.

Veer then tells Sameera that she 'loves' too much and that she needs to 'moderate' her feelings. Thereon, begins the journey of their friendship, but then comes the twist at the end, when Sameera confesses to having 'got her breath back' and Veer telling her 'and you do not want me to take that away'.

While there seem to be some cliched moments in the trailer, the overall feel of it is not, and we are thankful for that. As promised this is an intense love story from Ekta's Alt Balaji Camp, but is not cliched. As for performances, Vikrant Massey aces his role to perfection and Harleen too looks convincing as the hopeless romantic with a broken heart.
