Bridgerton gallops back! After that heart-stopping cliffhanger in Part 1, Netflix finally drops Season 3's second half. Will Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) finally say 'yes' to Colin's (Luke Newton) proposal? Can she juggle love, her explosive secret identity as Lady Whistledown, and mend fences with her BFF Eloise? Early reviews are in, and critics are calling Part 2 a delightful romp that sees Penelope navigate her official entry into the vibrant Bridgerton clan. Let's check out what critics have to say about the show below. Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 OTT Release: Here's When and Where To Watch Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan's Hit Drama Series Online.
Times Now: "While the third season is quite satisfying for period romance buffs, and those who enjoy a bit of escapism, the series ends with a little less drama. The main couple has little obstacles to overcome except for a secret which is dealt with summarily. However, this show has always been about the coming together of one big happy family and this season is no exception. And now, we rewatch all the seasons again until the next Bridgerton love story with Season 4."
Moneycontrol: "The season’s climax is essentially a grand reveal at a ball where Queen Charlotte confronts Penelope after her identity is revealed. “What’s life without a little gossip”, the queen asks a humbled Lady Whistledown. Penelope is confronted with the choice of hanging up her pen or marrying Colin." Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 Trailer: Will Colin Learn Penelope's Secret In Netflix's Hit Drama Series? (Watch Video).
Watch Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 Trailer:
Variety: "Though the explicit sex scenes are sparse, the tension circling Polin as they move into a new chapter can’t be understated. Coughlan and Newton are entirely convincing as a new couple determined to hold on to their individual needs and desires while struggling to relinquish their egos. For Colin, it’s learning how to protect Pen in ways that make her feel safe and seen. For Pen, it’s reconciling the harm she’s caused (however unintentionally) amid the power she’s wielded as Whistledown. "
The Independent: "Season three is ostensibly Penelope and Colin’s story – and yes, that much-vaunted sex scene, the one that Coughlan has described as “amazingly empowering” to film, is classic Bridgerton raunch. But the dynamic between Coughlan and Jessie’s characters is arguably more compelling, and certainly does more to drive along the plot of part two."
