The eighth season of Bigg Boss Tamil premiered on Vijay Television and Disney+ Hotstar on October 6. This time, the usual host, Kamal Haasan, has stepped aside, with his Vikram co-star Vijay Sethupathi taking over hosting duties. The contestant list is quite interesting, with 18 celebrities competing with each other to win the grand prize. Sachana Namidass, a Tamil actress who recently played Vijay Sethupathi's daughter in the 2024 blockbuster Maharaja, is part of the lineup.
