Bigg Boss 14 Grand Premiere Recap: Salman Khan’s Reality Show Sees Gauahar Khan, Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan as Toofani Seniors, Nikki Tamboli’s TIFF With Eijaz Khan, Rahul Vaidya’s Secret Task

After the BBQ test, and a video call with his parents, Rahul Vaidya is selected by Toofani Seniors. As a task, he is given a secret task by Toofani Seniors to get a kiss from a female contestant that should be witnessed by someone. Otherwise he cannot sleep!

Popular singer and former Indian Idol season 1 participant, Rahul Vaidya, joins the stage, as he sings a medley of songs. Even Salman joins singing him when he sang Bhai's tracks. In his pre-entry video, Vaidya claims that he doesn't mind finding romance in the house. Salman also reminisces about the late SP Balasubrahmanyam, whose one song Rahul sang. 

Salman Khan shows early footage of Sukhvinder Kaur, who is known by her self-styled Godwoman name Radhe Maa, who enters Bigg Boss house, even before the contestants have entered. She is shown blessing the house. 

After the BBQ test, the Toofani Seniors select Pavitra Punia, though Gauhar was dicey about her. As for Jaan Kumar Sanu, he gets unfortunately rejected, and joins Rubina, Nishant and Sara in the rejected zone.

Kumar Sanu's son Jaan Kumar Sanu, who is also a singer, enters the reality show. He is later joined on stage by Pavitra Punia, who comes through a sizzling performance on "Tip Tip Barsa Paani".

Nikki Tamboli's vacuousness is already causing a friction with Eijaz Khan's astute persona, ever since they got in the Bigg Boss house together. They had a little verbal tiff over spilt food. Later when Eijaz reveals to Jasmin that he snores, Nikki tells him to sleep outside. And Eijaz doesn't comply to that!

Nishant Singh Malkhani is made to go through BBQ test, but not before, he kept on praising Salman and quoting his popular movie dialogues. In the BBQ test, Nishant tells that he is not happy with Sidharth Shukla's aggression when the latter was a contestant. Shehzad wants to go on a date with Hina Khan, who he finds to be very appealing and hot. Sara Gurpal and Nishant Malkhani are rejected while Shehzad Deol is selected.

While Nishant Singh Malkhani and Shehzad Deol's chances on Bigg Boss 14 are left hanging, they are joined by singer Sara Gurpal, who comes in with a singing performance. 

Shehzad Deol, popular model and actor, has now entered the Bigg Boss 14 show. He has also worked with Nishant Singh Malkhani in a couple of reality shows before.

Popular television star Nishant Singh Malkhani, known for his roles in Miley Jab Hum Tum and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, enters the Bigg Boss house.

Jasmin Bhasin now has to face The Toofani Seniors' new test, where they cut her tresses. She shouldn't react to what they are doing. They also scare her into thinking they will electrocute her. Jasmin also revealed that she would like to be friends with Hina.

In her BBQ test, Jasmin Bhasin is asked to select the menu for tonight's house mates within a specific budget. She chooses 5 plates biryani and 5 plates vegetable noodles. The Toofani Seniors contemplate for some time before they select her.

Popular Naagin Fame actress Jasmin Bhasin  is the new contestant on the reality show. She is going to give Nikki Tamboli some tough competition for sure. Jasmin also revealed that she happened to be neighbours with Rubina and Abhinav.

Since Abhinav has done modeling, the Toofani Seniors make him do ramp walk with a twist. He is first asked to do that in only his trucks. When he is hesitant, they make him do so without his shirt. Later, they write "Mujhse Na Ho Payega" on his chest to confirm his selection.

Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik's selection depends on a special press conference (Abhinav makes an apt press joke here!), where they have to field question from four journalists from four different channels. Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik also pass the kiss test, where they get a gift hamper. The Toofani Seniors rejects Rubina Dilaik, because she is popular, while they select Abhinav for making sure the audience gets to know him better.

The season's only married couple contestant - Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik - make their entry on the show to the tunes of LoveYatri's "Ankh Lad Jaave". Salman asks them about how they coped together during the pandemic. They also revealed how they had once together in a show a few years back, and only connected a few years later.

The Toofani Seniors - Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauhar Khan - have some fun at the seemingly vacuous Nikki Tamboli. They say if she has to go in the house, she has to perform a task. She has to put an act where she has 'entice' Sidharth Shukla into marrying her! However, she is given a 'TBC' status - To Be Confirmed!

There is a twist in the tale that the Toofani Seniors - Hina Khan, Gauhar Khan and Sidharth Shukla -  have to choose if the contestants can enter the Bigg Boss house. And they give approval to both Nikki Tamboli and Eijaz Khan.

The Bigg Boss house astrologer is called to check how Nikki Tamboli is as a contestant, and he says she will make sure everyone dances to her tunes. The astrologer also claims that Salman Khan has gone beyond the marriage phase, which makes Bhai dance in joy!

South actress Nikki Tamboli is the second contestant, making her entry to "Dilbar" song. Her surname gives Salman an opportunity to make some Tambola jokes. She appears to fill the gap of someone who has the Poo complex.
