Bigg Boss 13: Sidharth Shukla's Balika Vadhu Co-Star Sheetal Khandal Clarifies That He Didn't 'Sexually Harass' Her
In the latest interview, Sheetal Khandal has made it clear that Sidharth didn't sexually harass her as people are trying to portray it that way. Read on to know what she has to say on the claims that she made earlier.
TV actor Sidharth Shukla, who is currently one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 13 was accused by his Balika Vadhu co-star Sheetal Khandal. In an interview, she said that when they both were working together, Siddharth touched her in an inappropriate manner while shooting a scene. She further said that this led her to complain to the producers of the show. Needless to say, this claim shocked a huge set of people. However, a few questioned her decision to speak up after all this time, which according to us didn't make any sense, because if something wrong has happened to a woman even ten years back, she has the all the right to speak about it now.
Anyway, the crux of the matter is that Sheetal has addressed these questions in the latest interview with Hindustan Times where she has made it clear that Sidharth didn't sexually harass her as people are trying to portray it that way. “I don’t have any intention to seek publicity or get into the reality show that Sidharth is currently a part of. I have no interest in all this,” she was quoted by the daily. Bigg Boss 13: Did Rashami Desai’s Tantrum Made Guest Farah Khan Leave the Task Midway? (Watch Video).
Sheetal further said, "My intention is to not accuse him now, as it’s over. But the media is projecting it like I’m accusing him (only) now. I just shared my experience with a journalist friend. I don’t know if Sidharth is the same as then, or he has changed now. People are considering ‘inappropriate’ in a different way. People are saying “it was sexual harassment” which is entirely something else. It is a very big comment which I have not said at all.” Sheetal has maintained that she didn't like the way Sidharth touched her feet when they were shooting a scene, but she does not want to call it sexual harassment.
