After a flop last season which was won by TV actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, the makers of India's biggest reality TV show, Bigg Boss are gearing up for the 13th season. Like the last seven editions, the upcoming one will also be hosted by Salman Khan. However, according to the recent murmurs about the show, the superstar doesn't want to take the hosting duties alone this year. Yep! Apparently, Salman wants a female co-host for the 13th season, which he believes will bring a freshness to the show.
The reports further suggest that Salman might not be as active as earlier seasons if we see a co-host join the new season of the high voltage reality show. But of course, these are all just speculations and nothing is on paper. So for now, we will assume that Bigg Boss 13 will be hosted only by Salman.

If things work out then that will be the theme of this season. But the makers are yet to lock it in," a source revealed to LatestLY. Considering number '13' resonates with being unlucky or a harbinger of the supernatural and evil, it makes sense. As for the sets of the show, this year, they will not be in Lonavala. Instead, the Bigg Boss house is currently being erected in Film City, Mumbai so that it's convenient for Salman, who had to travel all the way to Lonavala every weekend.
