Bigg Boss 13: Is Farah Khan Justified in Schooling Devoleena Bhattacharjee For Misusing #MeToo When Her Brother Sajid Khan Has Been Accused Of The Movement?
Devoleena Bhattacharjee crossed a line during last week's Snakes and Ladder task where she openly stated, "Mai ispe Metoo ka laga doongi", while referring to Sidharth Shukla.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee might be one of the most loved adarsh bahus of Indian television, but her stint in Bigg Boss 13, is changing her image. Not only is Devoleena finally coming out as an example of 'bahu bani babe', but her reputation outside the house is taking a hit. But having said that, Devoleena is also winning over a lot of fan following for her loyal game. The lady, who was acknowledged to have shown a very different, determined and aggressive side of her during tasks, was recently pointed out by Salman for doing so. However, Devoleena did kinda cross a line during last week's Snakes and Ladder task where she openly stated, "Mai ispe Metoo ka laga doongi", while referring to Sidharth Shukla, who also lost his cool like never before and started getting extremely physical during the task.
And as expected, when Farah Khan graced the house as the special judge for the BB Adalat task, she was quick to point out how Shefali Bagga, Rashami Desai, Mahira Sharma and Devoleena Bhattacharjee were always finding ways to gang up on Sidharth Shukla. And she also quickly pointed out that Devoleena shouldn't have thrown in the very sensitive #MeToo movement into the fight, as that was a very fragile subject with harsh consequences. For a section of the society who has pointed out that Farah shouldn't have lectured Devoleena, considering the former's brother Sajid Khan has been accused of the same, here's why the lady is completely justified in her statement to Devoleena.
It can be recalled that back when Sajid Khan was alleged of MeToo, even though Farah did not give any clear statement supporting or against her brother, she did acknowledge that 'she stood in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt.'

Well, this completely justifies Farah asking Devoleena to mind her words. It can be recalled that the news of Sajid Khan being accused of MeToo, forced him to step down as the director of the recently released Housefull 4. Back when the allegations had surfaced, Akshay Kumar had asked the producers to shut down the shoot till investigations were conducted. Back in September at the trailer launch of Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar had told the media, "I don't know exactly what has happened in his case but if everything goes well and if he is acquitted, I will surely work with him in the future." The latest on Sajid Khan's MeToo case is that the filmmaker has been suspended by the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association for a year.
