Writer Siddhartha Dey, who is primarily known for writing scripts of many big shows, movies and stage shows, is currently seen in the thirteenth season of the popular controversial show Bigg Boss. The 35-year-old scriptwriter is surely a surprise package on Bigg Boss 13. On the premiere night, when Salman Khan introduced us to the Bigg Boss 13 contestants, none of us really pictured Siddhartha to romance with any of his co-contestants or pick fights with anyone in the house or joke around and manipulate the housemates, given his personality. However, he is definitely a proper Bigg Boss material. While one may wonder, how does Siddhartha Dey manages to be all of this, let me tell you the writer is pretty much familiar with the whole idea of how Bigg Boss works. And it's because he has been a part of Bigg Boss 1. That's right! I was part of the writing team in 2006 but ran away seeing the magnificence of fights the housemates indulged in. Life has come as a full circle as now I am a contestant of the show."

Talking further, he added, "I am the first writer to be on Bigg Boss. And I feel privileged to be representing the community. They work so hard and yet are never given credit. If it wasn’t for writers, there would hardly be any content. Even celebs speak lines written by us every time. Meanwhile, Siddhartha Dey has been nominated for eviction this week on Bigg Boss 13 along with Paras Chhbara, Asim Riaz, Abu Malik, Mahira Sharma and Rashami Desai. Speaking of eliminations, Bigg Boss, earlier in the week, had announced that this weekend there will be double evictions just like the last time.
