Bigg Boss 13 Day 39 Highlights: Rashami Desai Calls Sidharth Shukla ‘Neech’ and ‘Ghatiya’; the Latter Hits Back

Soon after Shefali Jariwala becomes the new captain of the house, she re-allocates the duties of the house. However, the discussion soon turns into a fight between Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla when the former denies sharing any duty with him. The fight turns ugly when Rashami does a vulgar action, provoking Sidharth to lose his temper. She also calls Siddharth ‘Neech’ and ‘Ghatiya’ and the latter hits back. Meanwhile, Arti tries to sort things with Sidharth.

Sidharth Shukla and Tehseen Poonawala get into an argument over a misunderstanding. However, Siddharth, after Bigg Boss' warning has become very passive-aggressive. It looks like, he is in no mood to get nominated once again.

As the voting is about to begin, Bigg Boss announces that each contestant now has to give a reason that who do they want to see as the next house captain out of the two (Shefali Jariwala and Himanshi Khurana). The contestants then have to put a ‘rejected’ stamp on their faces if they feel they are not deserving to be the captain. As Shefali Jariwala and Himanshi Khurana become the captain contenders, the housemates begin to vote. As there is a tie between Shefali and Himanshi, former captain Arti Singh gets to decide who becomes the new captain. And Arti chooses Shefali Jariwala.  

The next day, contestants wake up dancing to an energetic number "Angrezi beat." After the contestants dance their hearts out, they get ready for a fun-filled day ahead. Just then, Bigg Boss calls Asim Riaz to the confession room and informs him that his team being the winner, should discuss mutually and nominate two members, who deserve to be the captain of the house. Bigg Boss also tells Asim that even if Sidharth becomes the captain, he will not be safe. So, Asim's team, decide to choose Shefali Jariwala and Himanshi Khurana based on their performance.

As the day ends, Devoleena Bhattacharjee tries to flirt with Arhaan Khan in order to make a connection with him and make Rashami jealous. It would be interesting to see if this flirting continues.

Post the task, Rashami confesses to Arhaan that she is upset with him for declaring that he wanted to play the peacemaker between Sidharth and Rashami despite knowing the back story. She then explains that she has been trying to talk to him but he has only been avoiding her and she is not happy about his behaviour towards her. Arhaan also apologises to her and explains that there is a reason to why he is behaving in a certain way.  

Shehnaz tells everyone that she found it important to switch teams as Sidharth Shukla started ignoring her, further adding, that she got insecure after Himanshi Khurana entered the house. Next comes Hindustani Bhau, who has a different perspective to things, tries to explain to the housemates that they should have strong principles and be loyal to your friends while playing the game. The social media sensation, who is deeply affected by the behavior and happenings of the house, advises Shehnaaz not to take their fame for granted as it's their fans’ love. The housemates are impressed by Bhau’s maturity and have all praises for him.

The re-entry of Rashami Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee has created an emotional upheaval. After the duo takes updates from their fellow housemates to understand the new dynamics, they give a task to wild card contestant Tehseen Poonawala to be their news reporter and update them with every news on the happenings, intending to add some spice after their re-entry. Getting into the character of the news anchor, Tehseen invites Shehnaz as the guest.
